Marcin Wyrostek

Coloriage

The COLORIAGE project is an instrumental quartet created in 2005 by Marcin Wyrostek, Mateusz Adamczyk and Piotr Zaufal. Their performances are characterized by a combination of folk music and the possibilities offered by jazz improvisation. The ethnic sound of the project was complemented by Krzysztof Nowakowski with his set of percussion instruments.
Since 2010, Marcin Wyrostek Coloriage has been permanently cooperating with KAYAH. They have performed many concerts together throughout Poland as well as in the Netherlands, Brussels, Morocco and Portugal.
The word coloriage means to color, to paint. This is the character of this band - daring, full of emotions, multicolored. In 2011, this line-up recorded the album "Marcin Wyrostek Coloriage", which went double platinum and received the Empik Bestseller 2012 award.
